My name is Daniel and I am ten years old. On Saturdays I never go to school, so I help my family at home. In the morning I get up at half past eight. I don't have breakfast in bed because my mum says that is a bad habit. After breakfast I do some chores. First, I make my bed and tidy my room. Then I help my dad in the garden. We don't have a dog, but we have two cats, so I give them food and clean water. My sister Lucy hates cleaning, so I usually wash the dishes with her. I don't like it very much, but my mum gives us some pocket money for it. In the afternoon we go shopping. We buy bread, fruit and milk, but we never buy sweets on Saturdays. After shopping I am tired, so I have a short rest and read my favourite book about animals.
