«Hello! My name is Emma and I am nine years old. Tomorrow my family is going on holiday to Spain, so today is a busy day. In the morning my mum and I go shopping in the town centre. We buy a new blue swimsuit for me and some sun cream. The swimsuit is not expensive, so I am very happy. After lunch I help my dad. We don't pack the big suitcase yet; first we clean the house. I make my bed and water the flowers in the garden. My brother Jack doesn't help us — he is in bed because he has a cold and a sore throat. Mum gives him some hot tea with lemon. In the evening I put my clothes, my book and my teddy bear in my bag. I can't sleep because I am so excited!»
